Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 450 g steak

Directions

Step 1
Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown and crispy, about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Step 3
Remove the potatoes from the skillet and set them aside.
Step 4
Add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil to the skillet. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, cooking until they are softened, about 5 minutes.
Step 5
Add the steak pieces to the skillet with the vegetables. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 6
Return the cooked potatoes to the skillet and mix everything together.
Step 7
Make four small wells in the hash and crack an egg into each well.
Step 8
Cover the skillet and cook until the eggs are set to your liking, about 5 minutes for runny yolks or longer for firmer yolks.
Step 9
Serve the steak and egg hash immediately and enjoy!
