  • 240 g all-purpose flour
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 60 g cream cheese
  • 7 g dry yeast
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 120 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp milk (for icing)
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
Step 2
Warm the milk to about 110°F (43°C) and add the dry yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Step 3
Add the milk and yeast mixture to the flour mixture. Mix in the melted butter.
Step 4
Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Step 5
Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the brown sugar and ground cinnamon evenly over the dough.
Step 6
Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into small 1-inch pieces.

Place the rolls into a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Step 8
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 9
In a medium bowl, mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cream cheese, and milk until smooth.
Step 10
Drizzle the icing over the warm rolls before serving.
