Step 1
Drain the tofu and wrap it in a clean kitchen towel. Place a weight on top and let it sit for 20 minutes to remove excess moisture.

Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.

Coat each tofu cube evenly with potato starch.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 180°C (350°F).

Fry the tofu cubes until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
