  • 500 g beef ribeye
  • 600 g cooked rice
  • 250 ml dashi stock
  • 2 green onions
  • 50 ml mirin
  • 1 onion
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • 20 g sugar

Directions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine dashi stock, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the sliced onions to the saucepan and simmer until they become tender.
Step 3
Add the thinly sliced beef to the saucepan and cook until the beef is no longer pink.
Step 4
Serve the beef and onion mixture over bowls of steamed rice.
Step 5
Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
