  • 10 g baking powder
  • 355 ml beer
  • 30 g cornstarch
  • 680 g fish fillets
  • 240 g flour
  • oil
  • 2 g salt

Directions

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.

Slowly pour in the beer, whisking continuously until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.

Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F).

Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and dip them into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.

Carefully place the battered fish into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.

Remove the fish from the oil and drain on paper towels.
