Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 500 g broccoli
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 200 g rice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 ml vegetable broth

Directions

Step 1
Cut the broccoli into small florets and rinse well.
Step 2
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
Step 4
Add the rice to the pot and stir well to coat with oil.
Step 5
Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
Step 6
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Add the broccoli florets to the pot, stir, and cover again. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender.
Step 8
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir well before serving.
