Step 1
Place the chopped onion and minced garlic at the bottom of a slow cooker.

Add the pork shoulder on top of the onions and garlic.

Pour the chicken broth and BBQ sauce over the pork.

Sprinkle the salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika over the pork.

Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
