  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 30 grams parmesan cheese
  • 2 heads romaine lettuce
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Step 2
Rinse and dry the romaine lettuce heads. Cut them in half lengthwise, keeping the core intact to hold the leaves together.
Step 3
Brush the cut sides of the romaine lettuce with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
Step 4
Place the romaine halves cut-side down on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes, until the lettuce is slightly charred and wilted.
Step 5
Remove from the grill and place on a serving platter. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Step 6
Serve immediately while warm.
