  • 900 g russet potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 225 g sharp cheddar cheese
  • 240 ml sour cream
  • 1 white onion

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Bake the potatoes in their skins until tender, about 60 minutes. Let them cool completely, then peel.

Grate the peeled potatoes into a large bowl using the large holes of a box grater.

Add the finely grated onion, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the grated potatoes. Mix gently to combine.
