Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, white sugar, and brown sugar.

Stir in the egg, egg white, applesauce, and vanilla extract until well blended.

In another bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.

Stir the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just blended. Do not overmix.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.

Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
