Step 1
In a large bowl, combine pork belly, chicken thighs, soy sauce, vinegar, minced garlic, bay leaves, and black peppercorns. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

Add the marinated meat mixture to the pan and cook until the meat is browned on all sides.

Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes or until the meat is tender.

Remove the bay leaves before serving. Serve hot with steamed rice.
