  • 3 apples
  • 250 grams bread
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 ml milk
  • 50 grams raisins
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread and chopped apples.

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour the milk mixture over the bread and apples, and stir to coat everything evenly.

Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the liquid.

Stir in the melted butter and raisins.

Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
