  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 10 g cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 45 g gochujang
  • 30 ml honey
  • 30 ml rice vinegar
  • 15 ml sesame oil
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 30 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, gochujang, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, and sesame oil.

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved.

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to form a slurry.
