Ingredients

  • 240 ml beef broth
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 225 g mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 450 g sirloin tips
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water

Directions

Step 1
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add sirloin tips and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and garlic. Cook until fragrant.
Step 4
Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and turn golden brown.
Step 5
Return sirloin tips to the skillet. Add beef broth and soy sauce. Stir well.
Step 6
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to form a slurry. Add to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
Step 7
Season with black pepper and salt. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Step 8
Serve hot and enjoy!
