Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 120 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 350 g fresh cranberries
  • 15 g fresh ginger
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 200 g sugar
  • 120 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Combine cranberries, apple, ginger, sugar, water, and vinegar in a large saucepan.
Step 2
Add the cinnamon stick and a pinch of salt.
Step 3
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Step 4
Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes until the cranberries burst and the chutney thickens.
Step 5
Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 6
Remove the cinnamon stick before serving.
