  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 5 ml baking soda
  • 3 bananas
  • 115 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ml salt
  • 120 ml sour cream
  • 200 g sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
Step 4
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then stir into the banana mixture just until moistened.
Step 5
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
Step 7
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
