  • 200 grams all-purpose flour
  • 6 apples
  • 220 grams brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pie crust
  • 170 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams white sugar

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour to form a paste.

Add white sugar, brown sugar, and water; bring to a boil. Reduce temperature and simmer for 5 minutes.

Place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill with sliced apples, mounded slightly.

Pour the caramel sauce over the apples, covering them evenly.

Cover with a lattice crust. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust.
