Ingredients

  • 20 g basil leaves
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 300 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 200 g pasta
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, halve the cherry tomatoes and chop the garlic cloves finely.
Step 3
In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes, until they start to soften.
Step 5
Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to combine with the tomatoes and garlic.
Step 6
Season with salt and black pepper, and add the fresh basil leaves. Toss everything together gently.
