A delicious and traditional Thai noodle dish, Pad Thai features stir-fried rice noodles combined with shrimp, tofu, eggs, and a flavorful sauce. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Directions
Step 1
Soak the rice noodles in warm water for about 10 minutes, until they are soft but not mushy. Drain and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix together the fish sauce, tamarind paste, and palm sugar. Set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add the shrimp and tofu to the pan and cook until the shrimp turns pink and the tofu is golden brown.

Push the shrimp and tofu to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until they are fully cooked.

Add the soaked noodles to the pan, followed by the sauce mixture. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated and heated through.

Stir in the bean sprouts and green onions, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
Step 8
Remove from heat and garnish with crushed peanuts and lime wedges. Serve immediately.
