Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 4 stalks green onions
  • 1 head Napa cabbage
  • 1 package ramen noodles
  • 0.5 cup rice vinegar
  • 0.5 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup sunflower seeds
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Thinly slice the Napa cabbage and place it in a large bowl.
Step 2
Chop the green onions and add them to the bowl with the cabbage.
Step 3
Break the ramen noodles into small pieces and set the seasoning packet aside.
Step 4
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the ramen noodles, almonds, and sunflower seeds. Cook, stirring frequently, until they are golden brown. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 5
In a small bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and the seasoning packet from the ramen noodles.
Step 6
Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.
Step 7
Add the cooled noodle mixture and mix until well combined.
Step 8
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
