  • 60 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 240 grams powdered sugar
  • 30 grams unsalted butter

Directions

Step 1
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
Step 2
Add the lemon zest and melted unsalted butter to the bowl, and continue to whisk until well combined.
Step 3
If the icing is too thick, add more lemon juice, one teaspoon at a time, until you reach the desired consistency.
Step 4
Use immediately to drizzle over cakes, pastries, or cookies. Allow the icing to set before serving.
