A healthier version of mozzarella sticks, these air-fried delights are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.

  • 60 g All-purpose flour
  • 120 g Breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 g Garlic powder
  • 5 g Italian seasoning
  • 12 Mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese
  • 2 g Salt

Directions

Step 1
Cut the mozzarella sticks in half to make shorter sticks.
Step 2
In a shallow bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt.
Step 3
Dredge each mozzarella stick in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for extra crispiness.
Step 4
Place the coated mozzarella sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
Step 5
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Step 6
Spray the frozen mozzarella sticks with cooking spray and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Step 7
Air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Serve immediately.
