  • 240 g all-purpose flour
  • 5 g black pepper
  • 480 ml buttermilk
  • 5 g cayenne pepper
  • 12 chicken drumsticks
  • 10 g garlic powder
  • 60 ml hot sauce
  • 10 g onion powder
  • 10 g paprika
  • 10 g salt
  • 960 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce. Add chicken drumsticks and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
Step 2
In another bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 175°C (350°F).

Remove the chicken from the buttermilk mixture, letting any excess drip off. Dredge each drumstick in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.

Fry the chicken drumsticks in batches for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the drumsticks from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
