- 480 ml custard
- 1 pound cake
- 450 g strawberries
- 120 ml strawberry jam
- 480 ml whipped cream
Directions
Step 1
Cut the pound cake into cubes and set aside.
Step 2
Layer half of the cake cubes at the bottom of a trifle dish.
Step 3
Spread half of the strawberry jam over the cake cubes.
Step 4
Add a layer of sliced strawberries over the jam.
Step 5
Pour half of the custard over the strawberries.
Step 6
Add a layer of whipped cream over the custard.
Step 7
Repeat the layers with the remaining cake cubes, jam, strawberries, custard, and whipped cream.
Step 8
Top with a few sliced strawberries for decoration.
Step 9
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
