  • 50 grams all-purpose flour
  • 150 grams butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 gram salt
  • 300 grams sugar
  • 30 grams unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Stir in sugar and vanilla extract into the melted butter.
Step 4
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
