  • 60 g all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 60 g butter
  • 480 ml chicken broth
  • 500 g cooked turkey
  • 120 g frozen peas
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 240 ml milk
  • 1 onion
  • 60 g pimientos
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and onion. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
Step 3
Stir in the flour until well blended.
Step 4
Gradually stir in the chicken broth and milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
Step 5
Add the cooked turkey, frozen peas, pimientos, salt, and black pepper. Cook until heated through.
Step 6
Serve hot over toast, rice, or pasta.
