Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a medium saucepan, mix 200 grams of sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually stir in the water, orange juice, and lemon juice until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil and thickens.

Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the orange zest and butter until the butter is melted.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks. Gradually add a small amount of the hot mixture to the egg yolks, whisking constantly. Pour the egg yolk mixture back into the saucepan and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Pour the orange filling into a pre-baked pie crust.

In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add 100 grams of sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.

Spread the meringue over the orange filling, making sure to seal the edges to prevent shrinking.
