Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9x5 inch loaf pans.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the persimmon pulp and sugar. Add the oil and eggs, mixing well.

In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the persimmon mixture, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the raisins and nuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the bread to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
