Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 50 grams breadcrumbs
  • 50 grams butter
  • 50 grams grated cheese
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 grams scallops
  • 2 shallots
  • 100 ml white wine

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the finely chopped shallots and cook until soft and translucent, about 3 minutes.

Add the scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until slightly golden brown.

Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes.

Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.

Divide the scallops and sauce into individual baking dishes or scallop shells.

Sprinkle the breadcrumbs and grated cheese evenly on top of each dish.

Place the dishes in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
