Ingredients

  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1000 g chicken breasts
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 30 ml soy sauce
  • 500 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks.
Step 2
Squeeze the lime over the chicken chunks and mix well.
Step 3
Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the chicken.
Step 4
Season the chicken with oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Step 5
Add soy sauce to the chicken and mix until well combined. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Coat the marinated chicken chunks with cornstarch.
Step 7
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
Step 8
Fry the chicken chunks in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
