Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 1 bowl ice
  • 1.5 liters water
  • 2 cups wood chips

Directions

Step 1
Fill a large pot with 1.5 liters of water and bring it to a boil.
Step 2
Gently place the eggs into the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare a bowl of ice water. Once the eggs are done cooking, transfer them immediately to the ice water to cool.
Step 4
Allow the eggs to cool in the ice water for 5-10 minutes.
Step 5
Set up your smoker with 2 cups of wood chips and preheat it to 225°F (107°C).
Step 6
Place the cooled eggs directly on the smoker grates. Close the smoker and smoke the eggs for 30 minutes.
Step 7
Remove the eggs from the smoker and let them cool before peeling.
Step 8
Serve the smoked eggs as a snack or add them to your favorite dishes.
