  • 240 g all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 tsp baking powder
  • 5 eggs
  • 354 ml evaporated milk
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 200 g sugar
  • 397 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 113 g unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 240 ml whole milk

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Step 2
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl.
Step 3
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and the vanilla extract; beat well.
Step 4
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture in batches, alternating with the whole milk. Mix until just combined.
Step 5
Pour batter into the prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool completely.

Poke holes all over the cake with a fork.

In a medium bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Pour the milk mixture over the cake, making sure it is fully absorbed.

Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
