  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 2 green onions
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 60 g panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic, and ginger. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Step 3
Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 4
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
Step 5
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and sesame seeds in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce is slightly thickened.
Step 6
Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the sauce until they are well coated.
Step 7
Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with additional sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
