Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 360 ml milk
  • 425 g pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, and sugar until smooth.
Step 3
Gradually add the milk and heavy cream, continuing to whisk until well combined.
Step 4
Stir in the vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and salt.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into individual custard cups or ramekins.
Step 6
Place the custard cups in a large baking dish and fill the dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the custard cups.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 8
Allow the custards to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
