  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cabbage
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 200 g rice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 800 ml tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
Step 3
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 4
Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until it begins to soften.
Step 5
Add the tomato sauce, cooked rice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Step 8
Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.
