  • 240 ml beef broth
  • 680 g beef sirloin
  • 1 g brown sugar
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 1 g garlic powder
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 20 ml sesame oil
  • 80 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tomato
  • 30 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Season beef strips with garlic powder and place in a slow cooker.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Pour over the beef.
Step 3
Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, or until beef is tender.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir into the slow cooker.
Step 5
Add bell peppers, tomato, and onion to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Step 6
Cover and cook on high setting for an additional 30 minutes, or until sauce has thickened and vegetables are tender.
