Flank Steak Rolls, also known as Bracciole, are delicious beef rolls stuffed with a savory filling and simmered in a rich tomato sauce. Perfect for a hearty dinner.
Directions
Step 1
Pound the flank steak to about 1/4 inch thickness.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix together bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper.

Spread the bread crumb mixture evenly over the flattened flank steak.
Step 4
Roll up the steak tightly and secure with kitchen twine or toothpicks.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Brown the rolled-up steak on all sides in the skillet, then remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

Pour in the red wine and tomato sauce, stirring to combine.

Return the browned steak rolls to the skillet, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 1.5 hours, or until the steak is tender.

Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
