Step 1
Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.

Press the biscuit mixture into the base of a 23cm springform tin and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Pour the sweetened condensed milk into a saucepan and gently heat, stirring continuously, until it turns into a thick, golden toffee. This will take about 10-15 minutes.

Pour the toffee over the chilled biscuit base and spread evenly. Allow to cool completely.

Arrange the sliced bananas over the toffee layer.
Step 6
Spread the whipped cream over the bananas and smooth the top.

Sprinkle grated dark chocolate over the whipped cream as a finishing touch.
