  • 28 g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 30 g flour
  • 2 pie crust
  • 600 g rhubarb
  • 300 g sugar

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
Step 2
Place one of the pie crusts into a 9-inch pie dish.
Step 3
In a large bowl, mix together the chopped rhubarb, sugar, and flour. Pour this mixture into the pie crust.

Dot the filling with small pieces of butter.
Step 5
Beat the egg and brush it over the edges of the pie crust.
Step 6
Cover the pie with the second crust. Seal the edges and cut a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.
