Simple Stir-Fried Rice

A quick and easy stir-fried rice recipe perfect for a weekday dinner. This dish is flavorful and can be customized with your favorite vegetables and protein.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • 400 g cooked rice
  • 2 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 onion
  • 100 g peas
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add the garlic and onion, and cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Add the carrot and peas, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Step 4
Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked.
Step 5
Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir everything together.
Step 6
Pour the soy sauce over the rice and mix well to ensure all the rice is evenly coated.
Step 7
Season with salt and black pepper.
Step 8
Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
