Ingredients

  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 30 g cornstarch
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 500 ml whole milk

Directions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, cream, sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder, and salt.
Step 2
Whisk the mixture together until smooth and there are no lumps.
Step 3
Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture begins to thicken and comes to a boil.
Step 4
Once the mixture comes to a boil, continue to cook for 1-2 minutes, until it reaches the desired thickness.
Step 5
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chopped dark chocolate and vanilla extract until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
Step 6
Pour the pudding into individual serving dishes and let cool to room temperature.
Step 7
Once cooled, refrigerate the pudding for at least 2 hours before serving.
