Ingredients

  • 100 g butter
  • 450 g cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g graham cracker crumbs
  • 240 ml sour cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • 200 g sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, 50g of sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
Step 3
Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
Step 4
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and 200g of sugar until smooth and creamy.
Step 5
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 6
Pour the cream cheese mixture into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
Step 8
Remove from oven and let it cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Step 9
Spread sour cream over the top before serving, if desired.
