  • 10 g baking powder
  • 115 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 240 g flour
  • 240 ml milk
  • 1 g salt
  • 200 g sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a lamb-shaped cake mold.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 3
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Step 4
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 5
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Step 6
Pour the batter into the prepared lamb-shaped mold, spreading it evenly.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 8
Allow the cake to cool in the mold for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
