Ingredients

  • 7 g active dry yeast
  • 310 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 355 ml warm water
  • 310 g whole wheat flour

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Stir in whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, olive oil, and salt until a ball of dough forms.
Step 3
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat all sides. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Step 5
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Roll dough out to fit your pizza pan or stone.
Step 6
Add your favorite pizza toppings and bake in the preheated oven until crust is golden brown and toppings are bubbly, 15 to 20 minutes.
