  • 480 grams all-purpose flour
  • assorted sprinkles
  • 10 grams baking powder
  • 200 grams granulated sugar
  • green food coloring
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 grams salt
  • 230 grams unsalted butter
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 4
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 5
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Step 6
Add green food coloring to the dough until the desired shade is achieved.
Step 7
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.

Cut out tree shapes using a cookie cutter and place them on the prepared baking sheets.

Decorate with sprinkles as desired.
