  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1.5 tsp baking soda
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 200 g mayonnaise
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 50 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Add the water, vanilla extract, and mayonnaise to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined and smooth.
Step 4
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Step 6
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack before frosting or serving.
