  • 450 g dried chickpeas
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1200 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the dried chickpeas under cold water and remove any debris.

Add the rinsed chickpeas, water, and salt to the Instant Pot.
Step 3
Close the lid and set the valve to the sealing position.
Step 4
Select the 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' setting and set the cooking time to 35 minutes on high pressure.
Step 5
Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then perform a quick release for any remaining pressure.
Step 6
Open the lid carefully, and drain the chickpeas. They are now ready to use in your favorite recipes.
