  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 60 ml honey
  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 120 ml water
  • 30 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the soy sauce, 120 ml water, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, and ground ginger. Stir and bring to a boil.

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 30 ml water until dissolved. Add this mixture to the saucepan and stir until the sauce thickens.

Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the teriyaki sauce over them, ensuring each piece is well coated.
