Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 240 g cheddar cheese
  • 12 eggs
  • 450 g ground sausage
  • 240 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add the diced bell pepper and onion. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
Step 5
Add the cooked sausage, bell pepper, onion, and shredded cheddar cheese to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
Step 6
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
Step 8
Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
