Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 60 grams butter
  • 500 grams chicken breast
  • 500 ml chicken broth
  • 30 grams flour
  • 150 grams green peas
  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 200 grams mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
Melt 30 grams of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step 2
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 30 grams of butter. Add the mushrooms and bell pepper, and cook until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes to eliminate the raw flour taste.
Step 4
Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, ensuring there are no lumps. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it thickens, about 5 minutes.
Step 5
Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with the green peas. Cook until everything is heated through, about 5 minutes.
Step 6
